Prayer for “Rachel” in Italy

Most loving Father,
we ask you to raise up in Italy
the healing ministries
that would open more widely the doors of Your Mercy
to those who suffer, often in silence, the wounds of abortion.

 Sustain and guide those involved in bringing to birth
these apostolic works
which will accompany your daughters and sons
on the journey toward spiritual healing.

 Manifest your healing power
through La Vigna di Rachele and Progetto Rachele.
May all who labor in this vineyard
be instruments of the new evangelization
to which You call the Church in Europe.

 Father of Mercies, embrace in your compassion
our sisters and brothers
whose hearts have been wounded
by the tragedy of abortion.

 Penetrate with Your Grace the wall of pain
and soften any hardness of heart
that would separate them from You
and from their children.

 We ask all this in the name of Jesus,
